Campbell claims she was sexually molested more than a hundred times by the Momah twins, often while under anesthesia for a dozen surgeries she now believes were unnecessary.

"I was very sore in my private area after it happened and my breasts were sore too," Campbell said. "On many occasions, I would wake up and I don't know what it was, but there was clearish, white stuff oozing out. Like, as if you had sex with somebody."

Shortly after being raped, Campbell said, she was diagnosed with bladder cancer by a different doctor who told her the mass had been growing for some time. She blames Momah for neglecting to tell her about it.

Shannea Day, a 29-year-old radiology department assistant, claims Momah lured her into his care with promises of a healthy pregnancy after she experienced a devastating stillbirth.

"He would thrust the vaginal probe in and out of me like it was a sex object," Day said. "You're laying down and wondering what the heck is he doing. You never go to a physician thinking this is going to happen to you."

"He was a very large doctor and I think I was afraid to insult him," Day said. "I guess I'm not the type of person to just think the worst of somebody. Now I can't help it with what I've been through. I don't trust anyone."

Day believes Momah and his brother preyed on naive women, hopeful mothers beset with tragedy and vulnerable young women who had no previous experience with a gynecologist.

"I have to admit I was stupid," Day said. "I was afraid my next baby was going to die, and I did everything he wanted me to do with the belief that he would take care of me. I'm sure the other women were the same, they were desperate and asking for help."

La Point says Momah caressed her breasts during exams, placed his gloveless hand inside her vagina, and performed more than 50 Pap smears on her over the four years she was a patient.

She recalled once asking him for stool softeners to alleviate constipation after the birth of a son, and he insisted on conducting another Pap smear.

"He was opening me up with the speculum and I was telling him that it was hurting. He wouldn't stop," La Point said. "One of the nurses came in and saw that I was crying and sweating really bad. The look on her face, she knew I was in pain. She just stared at me and then she just walked out of the room."

Jonah died from twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, a condition typically detected by ultrasound. His surviving brother, Wesley, suffered a massive stroke in utero as a result and was born with hydroencephaly.

Like many other plaintiffs, La Point and Day describe Charles as a stutterer, with a faint scar on his left cheekbone, who was friendly during visits. But other times the doctor's scar and stutter were gone, he was much thinner, he seemed disoriented about their case, and had a thick accent — traits they now associate with Dennis.

"I don't know what Charles did. I don't vouch for him. But I have spoken to Dennis at length and we do not believe he ever impersonated his brother," said Mark Johnson who is co-counsel in Dennis' defamation suit against Bharti.

Johnson says the men come from "a family of achievers," doctors, lawyers and pharmacists, who will support Charles Momah as he faces trial Oct 10.

Momah is charged with seven counts, including rape in the second and third degree, committing indecent liberties and filing fraudulent insurance claims. He is free on $200,000 bail and faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
